Play Boxes - Tips and How-To Videos

oral motor boxI learned this cool tip from my son's speech therapists.

They group play items, visual helpers, books, and therapeutic tools into clear plastic boxes, labeled and organized by theme or purpose.  They help organize your play and add context for the child.

This takes a little effort but the payoff can be good.

  • Organize Your Toys and Therapeutic Tools into Themed Play Boxes
Ask your speech therapist for tips, or sit in on your child's private speech therapy for inspiration -- that's how I learned how to do this!

Hey, don't be fooled by the opening slide that says Part 1! I messed up. This really is Part 2.
